Welcome to Year 1!

We are delighted to welcome you to Year 1, where lots of exciting learning and new adventures take place. Throughout the year, our class page will keep you updated with useful links, photos, and curriculum information to support your child’s learning journey.

As the weather is a little unpredictable, please ensure that your child brings a coat to school each day.

PE and Forest School

• Class 3 has PE every Wednesday.

• Class 4 has PE every Friday.

In addition to these weekly PE lessons, both classes will have either PE or Forest School on Thursdays, which will alternate each half term as outlined below:

Autumn 1

• Class 3: Forest School

• Class 4: PE

Autumn 2

• Class 3: PE

Spring 1

P.E. uniform: 

• Black shorts/joggers
• Black daps/trainers
• White or purple t-shirt. 

All clothing must be named to ensure a safe return.

Forest School uniform:

Please ensure children have a change of clothes (long sleeve top and trousers), a waterproof coat and their welly boots (which can be kept at school on the rack during their half term of Forest School.)
