Welcome to Year 4

We open the class doors at 8:35am for registration at 8:45am.

Welcome to Year 4!  

Throughout the year in history and geography, our focus is on Our Changing World. This term, our history topic is Roman's in Britain. This leads on from their learning about the Romans in Year 3. To find out more, please see the knowledge organisers in Curriculum Overviews.

We are also working towards the Multiplication Check which will take place in the Summer term - please ensure your child is regularly practising their times tables. They all have a times table rockstars login in their reading diaries!

Class 9 will do Forest School every Thursday morning for the first Autumn half term with Mrs Steed. Please can children come wearing their kit and bring their school uniform in their bag. Wellies can be kept in school on the rack.

Class 10 will be doing Swimming at this time on a Thursday for this half term with Mrs Beattie. Please can children bring a named bag with their costume and towel - googles and a hat can be brought if you wish. Children are to wear their PE kits for the day. After October half-term this switch over.

P.E – Class 9 have their PE lessons on a Tuesday at 11:15. Please ensure your child has a PE kit in school on this day.

Class 10 will have PE on Thursday. Please can children come to school in their PE kit. 

Music and French - On Thursday afternoons the children will receive Brass lessons from Mr Bowen as well as having French lessons with Mrs Beattie.

We are looking forward to a busy and exciting half term.
