Hello and welcome to the final term of the year and what a busy one it will be!

Forest School and PE

This half term Class 3 will be doing Forest School on a Wednesday and PE on a Monday afternoon.

Class 4 will be doing PE on a Wednesday and a Friday.

Spellings

This term we will be sending home spellings on a Friday to be learnt by the following Friday. These will be the common exception words that were sent home at the beginning of the academic year and they will be stuck in the back of the Sharing Books.

Phonics Screening

In June, Yr 1 children will be assessed on their phonics knowledge. An information evening will be arranged for you to attend to give you more information.

QR Codes

In your child's Sharing Book, you will find QR codes which are tailored for your child and show the gaps in their phonic knowledge. 

Readers

If you have any spare time in your day, we would love for you to come in and listen to some of the children read. Please see Mrs Larn or Mrs Fogwill if this is something you would like to do.
