The Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) is the Church of England and Methodist Church’s outworking of the requirements of section 48 of the Education Act 2005. It is a key element of the life of all Church of England and Methodist schools in England.
It has looked different over the years, reflecting changes in education practice and aligning itself more closely to the work of Ofsted. We were last inspected in 2017, when the process and potential outcomes were quite different. You will find the report for this last visit below.
We are looking forward to our next SIAMS in the coming academic year. We see this as an important way to demonstrate the unique nature of our school and its ethos.
