St. George's Church, Wilton is a vibrant Church of England parish with a rich history stretching back to Saxon times. On Sunday, there’s something for everyone as we offer both traditional and contemporary worship styles. The 9:30 service with choir has a weekly communion followed by the more relaxed and band-led modern worship at 11.00. St George’s Church has deep rooted connections with Bishop Henderson School. The vicar, Nick was once a pupil (!) and it was contributions from the church that helped to build the school in the growing area of Galmington over 50 years ago.

Here at St. George’s there is tons going on for all ages. From our Sunday work with kids aged 0-15, to our buggy buddies walking group, stay and play toddler activities plus Mossy Church exploring creation and the creator. For those beyond school years there is much to get stuck into such as ‘Soup’ our weekday café, ‘Men’s Shed’ and ‘Women in the pub’, ‘Stroll for the Soul’ walking groups, plus a range of home groups. We offer a community fridge project plus a tuktuk that brings much needed caffeine and company to the parish and beyond.
