Welcome to Year 4

We open the class doors at 8:35am for registration at 8:45am.

Throughout the year in history and geography, our focus is on Our Changing World. This term, our history topic is Romans in Britain. This leads on from their learning about the Romans in Year 3. To find out more, please see the knowledge organisers in Curriculum Overviews.

We are also working towards the Multiplication Check (https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/multiplication-tables-check)  which will take place in the Summer term - please ensure your child is regularly practising their times tables on ttrockstars. They will soon have a times table rockstars login in their reading diaries!

PE - is on Tuesday afternoons so you will need to bring PE kits in ready for your lesson. 

French - is also on Tuesday afternoons with Mrs Beattie. 

Music - on Thursday afternoons the children will receive Brass lessons from Mr Bowen. 

Forest  School - will be on Thursday mornings. Each class will do this for half a term and then swap. The first class will be Class 9 and then Class 10 after October half term. Please can children come to school wearing their Forest School clothes: long sleeve top, long trousers, waterproof trousers and coat. Children need to bring wellies to school and these can be stored on the welly hooks outside class 9. When the weather is colder they will also need hat, scarf and clothes.
