Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Day two starts well as the sun comes out! Smiles all round!
The children enjoyed a super end to the evening last night with a disco and then went to bed happily. They all slept well (even the teachers!) and are up and ready for a great day today. This morning's view promises a slightly drier day!
Year 6 had a super time yesterday, despite the rain. They enjoyed different activities - the axe throwing was a particular hit!
Year 6 are currently settling into their rooms at the centre and the rain is finally easing off! They're about to start their afternoon activities.
Year 6 have arrived safely at Swanage and are currently unloading the coaches and having their lunch. Photo updates to follow soon.
Our intrepid Year 6 pupils have headed off for a 3-day visit to Swanage. They started this morning in torrential rain, but all successfully got onto the bus and away on time. Please watch this space for updates as the children arrive and start their activities. We are sure that they will have a fabulous time.
Year 6 put on a fantastic show 'Robin and the Sherwood Hoodies'. Filled with baddies, goodies and some truly terrible jokes, the children amazed us with their confidence and their dedication to create a truly memorable show. Well done to them all!.

This morning caused great excitement as a couple of vans arrived on our school field. Some people got busy unloading bits of wood, felt and glass. I wonder what they will create!
Along with lots of schools in the county, we enjoyed a day of snow last Wednesday. Classes stopped for an hour as we went out as a whole school together to enjoy the snow - after all, in this part of the country, we only get it every 3 or 4 years! For some of our pupils it was their very first experience of snow. One pupil, whose family has joined us from Nigeria more recently became quite a champion snow-ball thrower.
Whilst some children were enjoying throwing snowballs, others were creating all sorts of amazing sculptures out of the snow. We all had a great time before coming in, getting dry and settling down to our work for the day. I was incredibly proud of our children, they were so thoughtful of others whilst enjoying the fun of the morning, and then settled down incredibly well and worked hard for the remainder of the day. Well done to all!
