English – This week we will be beginning our work on The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. For today’s lesson we will be watching the first 40 minutes of the film as we will be using this to inspire our writing over the coming weeks. It would be great if you were able to watch this too. It is available on Disney +. Please take particular note of the different characters and settings.

Maths – Perimeter
English – Today and tomorrow we will be planning for a piece of writing we will complete next week. We will be writing a description of when Lucy enters Narnia through the wardrobe and meets Mr Tumnus. Over the next two days, we would like you to write as many expanded noun phrases as you can to describe Narnia, Lucy and Mr Tumnus. Please think about your descriptive language and choosing vocabulary to create atmosphere.
We will be using the film clip and the section of the novel to help us.
