Complete the questions on the maths worksheet. You DO NOT need to print off the worksheet.

Tin Foil Printing

We have tried some different ways of printing. Today prepare your work area by laying down newspaper or some other protective covering because printmaking can sometimes get a little bit messy. Tear a piece of tin foil and then paint a design or picture on it.  Use a brush. Use your fingers. Paint with a sponge or anything else you can think of.

Firmly press a piece of paper on to the foil. Reveal your print! You can reuse your foil again and again.

Sense it:

You will need a blind fold – a scarf or similar will work and a bag of objects.

Place the blind fold over your eyes so you cannot see!

Ask an adult to give you an object.

Describe how the object feels.

Think back to our materials topic last term and the language we used then. (Hard, soft, cold, warm, rough, smooth etc)

Can you guess the object?

Repeat with a different object.

Discuss the difficulties you faced, if any, with identifying the object whilst being blind folded.
