Live Story Telling with Miss King on Zoom

Miss King will be reading a story about an animal. We hope this helps and inspires you to write your own story over the next couple of weeks.

If you are unable to attend the Zoom lesson, please read the story attached.

Complete the worksheet on the website. You DO NOT need to print the sheet off. Record your calculations on a piece of paper.



Complete the exercise challenges listed below: 


1. Static balance 1 

Can you balance on 1 leg for 10 seconds? (Count to 10 slowly) 

Now try the other leg. 


2. Active challenge 1 

Run on the spot for 30 seconds.  

(count slowly to 30) 

Repeat, but this time, run as fast as you can on the spot.  


3. Static balance 2 

Balance on 1 leg and then complete 5 mini squats – bend your knee. 

Now try the other leg. 


4. Active challenge 2 

Complete 10 star jumps. 


5. Static balance 3 

Balance on 1 leg and raise up onto your tip toes – repeat 5 times. 

Now try the other leg. 


6. Active challenge 3 

Jump as high as you can and then touch your toes. How many can you do in 1 minute?
