Remote Learning

Below you will find remote learning activities to be completed if your child is having to self-isolate. Please complete this work on your Microsoft Teams account, if possible. In addition to these activities, do not forget to continue reading, complete times table practice on TT Rock Star and rehearse your weekly spellings.

Home Learning Activities - Week Commencing 18/10/21




Maths - Mymaths - see login Please complete one task per day. Please do the lesson first then complete the task. You may also play any games on My maths you wish to play.


English -  Test yourself on last weeks spellings and practice your new ones. Then look at the Power point below on Prepositions. Complete the worksheet on it.  


Geography - if you can, go on Teams, Content library, Geography, Autumn and click on the link. This will take you to a site about counties. have a go at using it and write some sentences about towns/cities you know. What county are they in? Then look up the county, it should tell you the population of that county. put that in a sentence and then have a go at looking at the different layers: number of cities in the county, Roman remains etc.


PE - Complete an activity from our school YouTube channel.

English - Watch the You Tube clip on the story, 'The Wolves in the Walls'. Can you rewrite the story or part of the story in your own words? Or if you want to you could write a story about elephants in the wall! How would Lucy cope with that? 


R.E - Diwali - Rangoli Patterns. Look at the Power point on them. Can you draw one of your own? 


Guided Reading: There is guided reading tasks on teams you can access.

English - The Golden Key. Look at the PDF in English below. Over the next three days, work your way through the activities.  


Guided Reading - complete the guided reading task on the Romans. See below.


R.E- Diwali.  Look at the Power Point on Diwali. Then draw round your hand and create some Mehndi patterns on your drawing. You can also make a fact file on Diwali if you wish.
