RE – Bar and Bat Mitzvah
Today we will be looking at Bar and Bat Mitzvahs.
This marks a Jewish person “coming of age” and being treated as an adult. What questions might you want to ask someone who was going to have their Bar or Bat Mitzvah? How do you learn Hebrew? Is it hard? Why is it so important?
Watch this video that explains Bar and Bat mitzvah.
Can you complete the following sentences:
A Bar Mitzvah …(happens when a boy is 13)

Geography – Compare the countries of the UK and explore London.
Have a look at the PowerPoint ‘Let’s explore the UK’ to find out more about the countries of the UK that we looked at last week.
Then have a look at the PowerPoint of ‘Ted Tours London’ to find out more about our capital city.
If you want to, you could then make a model of one of the famous landmarks within London.
In our story the humans have spoiled and polluted the world. The dinosaurs come back and clean up and restore it.
Can you make a dinosaur or a rocket out of recycled materials that would normally get thrown away?
Can you make a poster or a list of ten things you can do or are doing in your household to look after our planet?
