Monday:

Bottle Rainforest animals: research an animal that lives in the rainforest, find pictures of it, notice the shape and colour of the animal.

Create a plan for making your animal based on the resources you have access to (it doesn’t have to be made from a bottle) Use the pictures shown as reference from what we have done in previous years.

Task: plan how you will build and decorate your rainforest animal.

Art-Collage:

Create a collage out of various materials you have access to, think about what a river and its banks look like, what kind of animals and creatures would you expect to be living in this habitat? 

Task: to create a collage that shows a river scene, including some wildlife and plant life that would live there.

Friday:

The James Dyson Foundation cardboard boat challenge.

Can you create a boat that will float on a ‘river’ (bath is fine) watch the video and see the challenge card (you don’t necessarily need all the equipment on the card) to show you some ideas about how buoyancy works. 

Task: Design and make a boat that will hold the equivalent weight of a bag of sugar.
