In pencil practise learning and writing any of the capital letters you found tricky.

On the piece of paper, you wrote your poem on yesterday, open it up - like a card- and draw a picture of your mystery animal. This way, your picture should be hidden when you read your poem.

Remember to label your picture telling the reader what your animal is!

Now you need to read your poem to other people in your household to see if they can guess the animal you are describing. If you are speaking to other family members via zoom, for example, see if they can guess. Share your learning with them.

Think about all the different types of jobs we have around our local area.

Make a mind map of all the ones you can think of.

What questions would you like to ask one of these people about their job?

Draw a picture of what job you would like to do when you are older.

While We Can’t Hug continued

On a paper plate, or on a circular piece of paper, design your own hug emoji?

Think of what you could draw as your emoji –it could be two stick people hugging or two animals hugging. We would love to see your ideas. Or try using one of these ways to create your emoji.
