The extra-curricular activities have now been confirmed and will be available to book on Parent Pay from this evening (separate booking forms for the Premier Sport and Pro-Coaching activities have been sent home tonight and are bookable online direct with the sports provider).
The deadline for booking all school led clubs is Monday 17th September. Clubs will start during the week commencing Monday 24th September 2018 and finish Friday 14th December 2018 (unless stated otherwise).
All after school clubs will cost £1 per session with the exception of KS2 Times Tables Rockstars and KS2 Circuits on Friday mornings which are free of charge. The clubs need to be paid for in full for the whole half term ie £5 per club for the half term. Unfortunately we cannot issue refunds unless there are exceptional circumstance or if your child has been asked to represent the school for an event on the same night. We cannot refund sessions missed due to illness.
Please can we ask that if you child needs to miss a session that you inform the school as soon as possible, preferably the day before, so that the absence can be marked in the register prior to the club. All unexplained absences need to be followed up by the club leader which can mean the activities are delayed from starting promptly.
Lunchtime Clubs will be offered to the children directly and are free of charge so no booking is necessary (with the exception of Friday cricket with Pro-coaching which is bookable and payable online).
School Games Mark
I am delighted to announce that we have achieved the School Games Gold Mark Award for the 2017/18 academic year. The School Games Mark is a reflection of the broad and balanced provisions we offer, which engage all children in physical activity. The award also recognises our commitment in developing competitive opportunities, as well as opportunities for children to enhance their leadership skills in a sporting context. This is the third consecutive year we have achieved this award thanks to the hard work and commitment of all connected with the school. I am delighted we have again been recognised for our success.
Mr Steve Low,
